Scaft Finished! Glittens begun...

I finished the twirly scarf and gave it to my sister.  She asked where my Etsy store was.  I have one now called Woodland Crafts.  But I don't have anything to sell yet so I have no items for sale yet. 

So now I have started on the glittens.  I have made the cuff, thumb gusset, and up to the fingers for the right hand.  My plan was to start them at Xmas and finish by New Years, but since I got a head start on the project, I want to finish earlier.  Plus my new roommates got me a Xmas present and left it under their tree even though they aren't here.  So I decided to make them a ribbed scarf.  I made those before for my sister, mom, boss and myself.  Those should just crank right out.  However since I live in the mountains right now its hard to get to a yarn shop.  I had to order my yarn for my roommates online.  This might be a bigger endeavor than I thought but I'm still committed.

A Resolution

This coming year I have a resolution!  I bought myself a Knit a Day calendar and I want to knit as much of it as possible.  I first planned on knitting myself a pair of glittens (gloves with a mitten flap) for the winter, but now I'm thinking I want to attempt the calendar.  Its going to be expensive for supplies, that I know.  I think my solution will be to open an Etsy store under the same name, Woodland Crafts.  If people like what they see they can help keep me in wool and supplies.  I'll try to post often, and keep up with the patterns and include progress pictures.  I'm finishing a scarf by Christmas and perhaps I'll start the glittens for New Years, then its onto the calendar.  Plus I will come up with better pictures, this one is a webcam shot.
